Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

EAST NASHVILLE- What started as a Christmas conversation seven years ago has turned into a dream come true for three sisters. Erica Greer, Amber Greer, and Jennifer Knight have launched a one-of-a-kind gourmet popcorn
shop in East Nashville. Knight got the idea after traveling to big cities like New York and Chicago and wanted nothing more than to bring the sweet treat to Music City. She talked her sisters into the idea Christmas 2006. The sisters slowly started up their business online and filled orders from home. In March the trio took a leap of faith and decided to launch "Kernels" from a store front
