A cup of egg nog is like drinking a cheeseburger when it comes to the amount of calories. Other foods that pop up more often during the holidays to avoid are chocolates and nuts, which are okay in small amounts. An interesting note, most people will only gain about 1-2lbs. from the end of the year holidays. Many times we never lose it, so it adds up over the years.
