UPDATE: Madison 12-Year-Old Girl Missing After Not Getting On Bus has Been Found

UPDATE: Dajevonne Carriere was located just a short time ago at the corner of Old Hickory Boulevard / Douglas. We're told she tried to run from police, but she is now in custody and is safe. There are no known injuries at this time.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Youth Services detectives have asked for the community's help in finding 12-year-old Dajevonne Carriere, a Madison Middle School student who failed to come home after getting in trouble at her school on Tuesday.

Officers say Dajevonne told other students she was not going back home and never got on the school bus at the end of classes. 

DaJevonne is a black female, 5'2" tall and weighs 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with "LOVE" written on the back in different colors. She was also wearing khaki pants and gray Converse tennis shoes.
