OEM, Metro Schools Offer First-Ever Mobile Warming Stations

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- The Nashville Office of Emergency Management in conjunction with Metro Public Schools to offer Mobile Warming Stations from 1pm until 7pm today (Friday, January 24th). 

School buses will be parked at Riverfront Park and the Farmers Market during those hours, offering temporary shelter from the cold temperatures. This is the first ever use of mobile warming stations offered in Nashville. 

OEM asks anyone at-risk of exposure or who sees someone in distress due to the weather to call Metro's non-emergency number at 615-862-8600.
