CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Last night, FOX 17 reporter Mikayla Lewis reported (STORY HERE) on a warming shelter open in Clarksville. Now, a second shelter is open and they want to get the word out with the temperatures so bitter cold.

The New Providence United Methodist Church has opened it's doors at 1317 Ft. Campbell Boulevard until Wednesday. They have beds, blankets and food.

The church quickly lined up volunteers and supplies when the police requested their help as a shelter. They will be open all day Monday and serving morning meal/lunch and evening meal. The shelter will stay open until Tuesday at 7 a.m., close, then reopen at 4:30 pm until 7 a.m. Wednesday.
