Wilson Co. Schools Deciding Whether to Take Action Against School Director-Meagan O'Halloran

Stream Fox 17 newscasts LIVE starting with TN Mornings at 5 am and News at 9 pm.

LEBANON- Wilson County school board members held a closed emergency meeting Sunday to discuss Wilson County School Director Dr. Tim Setterlunds future. In an open meeting Thursday, Dr. Sutterlund allegedly admitted to drinking and driving in his county work vehicle. According to the Wilson County employee handbook, driving a county car while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is strictly prohibited.

Wilson Countys attorney, Mike Jennings suggested the board look at all the facts and think about scheduling a special meeting later in the week.

As of right now, the board has not decided what disciplinary action, if any, will be taken.

Were gonna take a thorough look at this--not rush to judgment but move fairly expeditiously and determine what action if any needs to be taken said Jennings after the meeting Sunday.

Setterlund was on vacation and did not attend Sundays meeting. Stay tuned to FOX 17 for the latest developments in this story.
