CARTHAGE, Tenn. - A well known Carthage business owner will be sentenced in a sex trafficking case. Doug Clemons plead guilty to a 25 count indictment. The charges include Aggravated Exploitation of a Minor and Sex Trafficking. Clemons is the former owner of a wrecker service. County residents say the charges are shocking, especially in a small town like Carthage. The TBI first arrested Clemons on Child Pornography charges in August of 2012. A raid of his home led to Sex Trafficking charges and a 25 count jury indictment. A sentencing hearing is scheduled tomorrow in Smith County.
