Maury County, Tenn.-- Eva's Eden, a free cat shelter in Maury County, is seeking information on a kitten which was reportedly thrown from a car last week.

Maury County Animal Control contacted the shelter after a resident picked the kitten up off Highway 31 around 6pm last Wednesday night. According to the shelter, the kitten showed evidence he had been thrown from a moving car. Workers pulled gravel out of his face and the skin on his tail had been ripped off. The doctor also believes the kitten was possibly attacked by a dog.

Anyone with information is asked to call the City of Columbia Animal Control at 931-375-1408. Donations can be made to Veterinary Wellness Center of Columbia at 931-548-2523.
