BREAKING NEWS:
The fire at the Villa Louise Apartments on West End rekindles at 1 a.m. Firefighters fought the blaze for about an hour and a half before getting it under control.
No injuries are reported.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- A fire broke out at Villa Louise apartments on State and Louise Avenue tonight. A security guard across the street, saw smoke rising around 9:15 pm and called 911.

Several fire crews responded to the blaze. The fire department believes the fire erupted on the first floor and caused a floor to collapse on the above levels.

No one was injured. Tenants were not at the apartments because of a flood displacing them earlier this month. A pipe burst during the freezing temperatures on January 7th. The building was still under construction today. The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire at this time.

Earlier this month, Fox 17 reported an exclusive story on the Villa Louise tenants possibly being left out in  the cold by the property management. CLICK HERE for the complete story.
