‘Arsenio Hall Show' Gets 2nd Season

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- 'The Arsenio Hall Show' is officially renewed for a second season.

Surprise Arsenio guest Wednesday night, former Tonight Show Host Jay Leno, read the announcement on the show. 'The Arsenio Hall Show' debuted on September 9 of last year. The original, 'The Arsenio Hall Show,' ran from 1989-1994.

'The Arsenio Hall Show,' according to Nielsen, is watched by just under 7 million people weekly. The median age of an Arsenio viewer, 50.1, is the youngest among late-night talk show on broadcast TV season to date.

Guests on Arsenio this season have included LL Cool J, Eddie Murphy, Simon Cowell, Zooey Deschanel, "Magic" Johnson, Dr. Phil, Tyler Perry, Mike Tyson, Max Greenfield and Whoopi Goldberg. Musical guests, such as Snoop Dogg, Nas, R Kelly, Flo Rida and The Band Perry, have performed.

'The Arsenio Hall Show' airs on FOX 17 weeknights at 10:30 p.m. after FOX 17 News.
