Elementary Student in Clarksville Approached by Suspicious Man

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Clarksville police are asking for help after an elementary student walking home from Kenwood School Complex was approached by a suspicious man who tried to get her into his car.


A black male driving a 4-door maroon pick-up asked the student if she needed a ride and after being told "no," he told the girl "you better get in my car." The student was able to run away from him. 


Man described as a black male in his 30's with medium skin tone and thin mustache. He was wearing a black ball cap, black shirt with white guitar on it and driving a 4-door maroon pick-up. Anyone with information is asked to call 931-648-0656 ext. 5279 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 931-645-8477.
