Stream WZTV Fox 17 Newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5am and News at 9pm.

FOX News-- A suspect has been taken into custody following the disappearance of 10-year-old Hailey Owens, who was taken from a neighbor's front yard in Missouri on Tuesday.

Although the girl's fate remains unknown, a man identified as Craig Michael Wood has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder. However, the warrant does not specify a victim or the circumstances surrounding the charge.
Witnesses say Hailey was approached by a man and pulled her into his truck late Tuesday afternoon. Police located Wood's vehicle at his Springfield home a little over five miles from where Hailey was taken.

FOX 2 (KTVI) reports family members of the girl say Hailey's body was found on Wednesday. The report also says the suspect was a teacher's aide who has worked for the Springfield School District since 1998.
