Stream WZTV Fox 17 Newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5am and News at 9pm.

Scott Couch -- FRANKLIN, Tenn.

New information on an Independence High School wrestler's battle to regain use of his arms and legs after a devastating injury during a match in December.  Hunter Garstin continues to recover at a center in Atlanta that specializes in spinal chord injuries.
Tuesday, Garstin's mother posted a new video on a facebook page started by friends.  It shows Garstin standing with the help of a machine and moving his arms as he walks.  His mother wrote, "success... tears of joy from me... he looked so handsome standing up."
That facebook page now has more than seventeen thousand followers.   Friends and classmates continue to post pictures and encouraging messages.  On Twitter they are using the hash tag #hunterstrong.  A zumba-thon is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, at Independence High School in Franklin to raise money to help the Garstin family with medical expenses.  It's from 1 to 3p.m.  Tickets are ten dollars in advance and fifteen dollars at the door.
