Pharmacist Cures Nightmares With Monster Spray

A Main Street pharmacy has prescribed the cure for the common monster.

Barrett Pharmacy in Watford City, N.D. prescribed a special monster spray to a 6-year-old girl who had trouble sleeping over her fear of monsters a few days before Christmas, Josslyn Dodds, the pharmacy's manager told the Daily News Tuesday.

The girl was a family friend of one of the employees, so the staff worked up a batch of their monster spray. The medicine has had a few different incarnations which Dodds said they've made for a few special children in recent years.

The spray also came with its own prescription and instructions.

"Spray around the room at night before bed, repeat if necessary," the prescription reads.

The small bottle includes 120 sprays and the prescription allows for one refill.

What is in the magic concoction?

"I'm not telling," Dodds said. "I don't want to say."

After a few sprays the girl came to the pharmacy to thank everyone and inform them she is sleeping much better.

A picture of the bottle made its way on social media and the pharmacy has gotten a lot of encouragement from the people in the small town, she said.
