NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) Murder charges have been filed against a central New Jersey man accused in the fatal beating of a college student from Gallatin, Tenn.

Middlesex County prosecutors say 38-year-old Timothy Puskas of New Brunswick was notified of the charge today at the county jail. Puskas is charged in the death of William McCaw.

Investigators are currently trying to figure out what led up to the attack. Police found McCaws body 25 miles away from Kean College, where he went to school.
