Light Snow and Rain Expected

A quick-moving system will move through tonight and early Thanksgiving morning producing rain and snow showers. Tonight light rain will push through Middle TN. Snow showers will be likely along and north of I-40, with some accumulation in S. KY and the Cumberland Plateau. 1-2 is possible along the Plateau by early Thurs. morning. Up to .5 inch is possible in S. KY and nearby TN counties. Those along the I-40 corridor will see flurries with little to no accumulation. Roads will become slick along the Plateau overnight and early Thurs. morning.

Fatal Rutherford County Hit-and-run Suspect Out of Jail, Mass for Victim

The woman who left the scene of a fatal hit-and-run in Rutherford County yesterday is out of jail.

Tina L. Wilson, 33, of Murfreesboro, was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident with bodily injury on Thursday on I-24 in Smyrna. She was released from jail on $5,000 bond at 12:30 a.m. Friday, according to the jail.

According to police, Wilson, who had a passenger with her in the car, was on her way to Addiction Medicine Clinic (AMC), a drug counseling center in south Nashville.

The victim, 13-year-old Clifton Braunwalder, son of Norbert and Sondra, of Lascassas, died after being hit by the car driven by Wilson alongside the interstate while changing a tire with his mom and sister there, say police.

There is a special mass Friday morning scheduled for Braunwalder of Lascassas at Saint Rose Lima Parish in Murfreesboro at 8:15 a.m.

The family sent FOX 17 pictures of Clifton, who is homeschooled. His sister says he was a sweet young man who was strong in his faith and had a smile and a joke for everyone. She says he was involved in sports, Boy Scouts, and serving the community. He will be greatly missed, she finished.
