Tenn. Vehicular Homicide Fugitive Arrested After Standoff in Reno

RENO, Nev. -- A Tennessee fugitive is behind bars after a standoff in Nevada.

The Reno Gazette Journal reports 71-year-old William Wynn, a fugitive in a vehicular homicide case in Crossville, as the arrested subject in a five-hour standoff Wednesday at a downtwon motel in Reno. Wynn is booked into the Washoe County Sheriff's Office.

No one was hurt in the standoff. Wynn was allegedly armed, according to police. No word on what led to the SWAT call.

The standoff ended without incident when Wynn came out willingly, say police.

Wynn was indicted for vehicular homicide by intoxication for the the Dec. 2010 traffic death of 78-year-old Paul Jenson, according to the Crossville Chronicle. He was scheduled to go on trial in 2012.
