Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

More Than Two Dozen Grams of Heroin Seized in N. Nashville Traffic Stop

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A traffic stop near Metro Center leads to a heroin seizure.
Metro police pulled over 31-year-old Katrinna Claybrooks on a traffic stop Tuesday at I-65 at Rosa Parks for making an illegal lane change.
Police conducted a search of Claybrooks after observing loose marijuana in the car. On her person they found 25.5 grams of heroin.
Based on the quantity, police believe the drugs are for resale.
