Update: One Dead, Two Injured in Wilson County Home Altercation

Stream WZTV Fox 17 Newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5am and News at 9pm.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- An altercation inside a Wilson County home has left a 31-year-old man dead and a woman injured. Police responded to a call on Chicken Rd and found James Chase Hoover deceased.

Also in the home was 31-year-old Crystal Colyer and 77-year-old James Francis Hoover, grandfather to the deceased. Crystal was found with a gunshot wound to her lower body and the elder Hoover was found with injuries consistent with signs of a struggle.

All three live in the same home together and police believe the injuries are a result of an altercation between them. Police have responded to previous domestic calls at the home and all three individuals have records with the Wilson County Sheriff's Office.
