ADAMS, Tenn.--The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency released the identity of a man missing in the Red River. Charles Keith Gorley disappeared while canoeing this afternoon with his fiance, Lacy Henson this afternoon.

Their canoe tipped over, while making their way down five miles to a ramp to get picked up. The TWRA says, the couple was not wearing their life vests. The 28-year-old woman tried to save the 32-year-old man, but the swift waters pulled him under says the Robertson County Sheriff.

Several emergency and rescue crews searched the area, before stopping at nightfall.

The TWRA says searching will continue tomorrow at 8 a.m.
