Update: Springfield Man Shows Up at Hospital With Critical Gunshot Wounds

UPDATE: Alan Gardner, 39, was booked into Robertson County Jail on Monday and charged with criminal attempt to commit 1st degree murder after turning himself in. Police continue to look for another suspect.

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. --  A Springfield man drives himself to a hospital with several gunshot wounds.
Police identify the victim in Saturday morning's shooting at 15th Avenue near JL Patterson Street as 27-year-old Brandon Gardner. They say he has life-threatening injuries.

Gardner drove himself to NorthCrest Medical Center after the 2 a.m. shooting, before being transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Medical Center. The victim's vehicle, which has numerous bullet holes, was processed by police at the hospital.
