Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A Nashville Company is on the cutting edge of a new music trend, the resurgence of vinyl. United Record Pressing is the nation's largest producer of vinyl records. Experts say the format is growing at a time when overall music sales are declining. United Record Pressing recently purchased a five million dollar warehouse to expand operations to meet the growing demand for records. The company has been pressing records in Nashville since the the 1940's including many of the early hit records for Motown. The record maker plans to add an additional sixteen presses to the twenty two already in operation.
