NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A man enters a south Nashville home in broad daylight while a teenager is home alone.

Metro police responded to the home yesterday on Whispering Hills Drive and found 33-year-old Michael Craddock inside the mother's bedroom wearing her bracelet, according to the affidavit. The 14-year-old observed the stranger in the backyard going through the shed and called his mom to see if she knew him, which she didn't.

The man then made his way through the unlocked front door. Once inside the home, Craddock went into the laundry room, the refrigerator and ransacked bedrooms in the house. The boy ran out.

At some point, Craddock used his car to ram a fence on the property, destroying it. Police also found a switchblade in his car.

Craddock is being held in the Davidson County Jail on $40,000 bond.
