NASHVILLE, Tenn. --  A man sets fire to three homes in Inglewood and returns to the scene with evidence all over his hands.

Metro police arrest 28-year-old Brandon Hulan on Saturday after he allegedly set fire to a home at 1224 Kirkland Avenue that extended to two next door homes, according to the police affidavit. Police say Hulan's hands had black markings on them that appeared to be soot stains.

No one was injured in the fire. The home of the original fire is a total loss.

Three minor children were inside a home at 1226 Kirkland Ave., along with an adult, at the time of the fire. No one was home at 1222 Kirkland Ave.

Witnesses saw Hulan walking down the street just prior to the fire.
