NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Two people are wanted for a south Nashville hold-up while posing as police officers.

Metro police are looking for a male and female suspect who allegedly held-up a person outside the Days Inn at 9 p.m. on Murfreesboro Pike Monday. They didn't injure the victim, but took their wallet and money.

The suspects were wearing gold badges and black vests and were in a car with blue lights, according to the alert. The male is reported as blonde, skinny with tattoos and the female is a heavy set blonde.

In February there were multiple incidents involving police impersonators in Maury County involving a yellow Camaro with a blue light. Those suspects robbed their victims. They have not yet been caught.

Anyone with information regarding the Nashville incident is asked to call Metro police at 862-8600, or CrimeStoppers at 74-CRIME. Anyone with information regarding the incidents in Maury County can call the Maury County Sheriff's Department at 388-5151, or Maury County Crime Stoppers at 931-381-4900.
