Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. Bring plants and pets indoors for the weekend and make sure outdoor vegetation is protected as well.

In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight. A dusting of snow on grassy surfaces will be possible by Saturday morning for areas just west of the Plateau and up to 1 inch of snow along the Plateau. 
 
A snow storm is expected in east Tennessee with up to a 15 inches in elevations greater than 5000 feet.

57-Year-Old Clarksville Man Goes Missing

A 57-year-old Clarksville man has been reported missing, the Clarksville Police Department said.

Michael L. Quen, of Power Street, has been missing since June 9.

A press release sent out Monday says Quen has a history of untreated depression and that he left home on June 9 with $300, no cell phone, and no extra clothing. He is said to have left a note stating that he needed to get away for a few days.

He is described as a white male measuring 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.
