BON AQUA, Tenn. -- A man is charged with kidnapping after a Hickman County standoff.

A domestic disturbance at the 1500 block of Bruce Drive prompted police to show up just before 8 p.m. Tuesday. They learned a woman was being held against her will inside, along with the suspect, 27-year-old Bryan Hudgins, who barricaded himself inside the home.

After three-hours of negotiations, police say they found an opportunity to end the incident and they Tased Hudgins. He was taken into custody without further incident.

The victim is not injured. Police are unsure if there were guns in the home.

Among kidnapping charges, Hudgins faces assault and resisting arrest. The investigation is open and more charges are expected.
