CEDAR HILL, Tenn. - The Robertson County Commission will stop funding to the Rescue Squad in Cedar Hill in July. Homeowners near the station on Highway 41 are concerned it will mean increased response time during fire emergencies. County Commissioners say fire departments in Adams and North Robertson County will provide temporary coverage for the area until a new station is established. The Commission's Fire Committee decided to end funding to the Rescue Squad after questions surfaced about record keeping including the department's nonprofit status with the state. Fox 17 News was unable to reach anyone at the Rescue Squad by phone or at the building on Highway 41.
