NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Two arrests in Nashville are made after a package with several pounds of methamphetamine inside is delivered through the mail.

The package containing 5.6 lbs. of meth was delivered to the FedEx store at the 2300 block of West End Avenue from California, according to the affidavit. Under surveillance, police observed 49-year-old Jeffrey Grammer pick up the package.

The car Grammer left with the meth in was driven by 35-year-old Deanna Conners. Both suspects were stopped and taken into custody yesterday.

Grammer and Conners are in Davidson County jail on $257,500 bond each.
