Smyrna police said on Wednesday in a press release that thanks to local media they now have in custody one of two suspects accused of stealing a purse and dragging the victim with their car after the theft.

The release said Christopher Gonzales, 22, of Smyrna, (right in the photo) turned himself in on Wednesday and was charged with theft over $500. Gonzalez is said to have been very cooperative and "has even returned some of the victim's property."

The driver of the vehicle has not been located yet and may be in hiding, the release said. His name is Aaron Moss (left in the photo). He is 20 years old, is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.

Moss was known to be in the Lebanon area but has ties to Memphis and Cordova, Tenn. There are active warrants on Moss for aggravated assault and theft over $500.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Moss is encouraged to call Detective Rick Hall or the Smyrna Police Department at 615-459-6644.
