Stream WZTV Fox 17 Newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 4:30am and News at 9pm.

Tullahoma, Tenn.-- The Tullahoma Wal-Mart store located at 2111 North Jackson Street was the scene of a precautionary evacuation prompted by a suspicious device on Saturday.

According to police, a package was found outside of the store which was "highly suspicious" due to the configuration of the device. The Tennessee Highway Patrol bomb squad was called out and used a high pressure water blast to destroy the device without incident.

While no explosive matter was found, police say the the device had the "proper components" to function as an explosive device. The Tullahoma police department is investigating the incident and anyone with information is asked to call Detective Rana Pawlowski at 931-455-0530.
