NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Three Nashville women brought back a mission from the Missouri protests for Michael Brown.

Brittany Watson, Ebonee hunt and Shonka'an Randle returned from Ferguson, MO Wednesday morning.

A police officer shot and killed Brown, 18, who was unarmed on Saturday.

It came on the heels of similar officer-related killings in New York, Los Angeles and Ohio.  All ended in the death of a black man.  All are under investigation.

The women say the national media is focusing on the looting and rioting that followed the shooting in Missouri, unfairly overshadowing the many more calm voices calling for peace.

The women bring back a mission to start a positive discussion about race, but also the pain of grieving families across the country...

"When I came back from Ferguson Missouri, I looked at my little brother in the face and I broke down,” Watson said.  “We are sending the message that black lives do not matter.”
