UPDATE: The victim's pickup truck was recovered Tuesday night on Independence Court in Goodlettsville.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A clerk, guest and security guard are all victims in a south Nashville hotel safe theft.

Two masked, armed suspects stole the safe from La Quinta Inn & Suites at Sidco Drive at around 3 a.m., according to Metro police, after they couldn't get it open in the 45 minutes they were there trying.

The suspects walked in and ordered the female clerk to open the safe. When she couldn't, they attempted to pry it open.

In the process, a guest walked in and was ordered to the back office. A security guard then walked in on them and was ordered to lie on the ground.

Since the suspects could not open the safe, they took it, and stole the security guard's truck to haul it away in. The suspects also stole cash, phones and other items from the victims

No injuries are reported. No shots are fired.

Photos were released from surveillance video during the incident.

The gunman is described by police as 5'10" with a thin build. He wore black athletic shorts and jacket with gray socks and black and white Nike high-tops.

The second suspect is approximately 6'2" with a muscular build. He has shoulder length dreads and an oval tattoo on his entire right forearm. He wore black shorts and jacket with an orange/red shirt and white Nike low-cut sneakers.

The stolen truck is a 2003 silver FORD F-150, with a Tennessee tag out of Cheatham County: 241TQZ. There is a silver toolbox in the back, as well as a "Nitro Nation" sticker.
