Five Shot in Two Days in Clarksville, One Dead

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- A shooting has claimed the life of one person in Clarksville.

The victim, 24-year-old Fran Caratini, was pronounced dead at the 100 block of Chapel St. after the 9 p.m. shooting Thursday, say police. This is the third shooting in two days.

Two people received injuries Wednesday at 9 p.m. at the 300 block of Treeland Drive after being shot, police report. Their injuries are non-life threatening.

Police say two other people were shot just before 5 p.m. Wednesday at the 100 block of Edmonson Ferry Road. Their injuries are also considered non-life threatening.

It is unknown if any of the shootings are related. Police are investigating all three incidents. Anyone with information can call the TIPS line at 931-645-TIPS.
